HANNAH CALDWELL-SMOLINSKI, MS, RD
She/Her/Hers
Registered Dietitian
Hannah Caldwell-Smolinski is a Registered Dietitian with a strong foundation in science, a passion for food and culture, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals in their recovery from eating disorders. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oglethorpe University before relocating to Colorado to pursue her Master of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University. During this time, she also obtained her licensure as a Registered Dietitian.
Prior to joining EDCare, Hannah specialized in Culinary Dietetics, where she taught cooking classes and developed recipes for Colorado State University’s Extension programs. Her work focused on making nutrition education accessible, enjoyable, and rooted in cultural relevance. She continues to center her work on the belief that food is more than just fuel, it is connection, tradition, and an essential part of individual identity.
Hannah was drawn to the field of eating disorder treatment through her experiences working with individuals who felt overwhelmed by food rules or disconnected from their bodies. She is passionate about helping others repair their relationship with food by fostering curiosity, compassion, and cultural appreciation. Her approach is person-centered, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the understanding that recovery is as much about nourishment as it is about restoring trust and joy in eating.
Outside of her professional life, Hannah enjoys spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, often drawing inspiration from different culinary traditions. When not cooking, she finds peace and energy on Colorado’s hiking trails, where she enjoys the beauty and balance that nature offers.
