Family Therapist

As a family therapist, Amanda’s hope is to create a space for open and honest communication, to offer education about eating disorders and to facilitate growth and healing within the family.  She is dedicated to her clients and strives to create a non-judgmental space where participants can explore, discuss and eventually create change within family systems.  It is truly an honor to be a part of this process and it is not something she takes for granted.

Amanda is a licensed professional counselor and has worked in the field of eating disorders since 2013.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Westmont College prior to completing her Elementary Education Certificate from California State Fullerton.  After teaching for a few years she discovered her passion for counseling and returned to school.  She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains or relaxing on the beach.
