Ashley graduated from East Tennessee State University with her Master’s degree in Social Work. She has worked with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health diagnoses and/or substance use. Ashley began working with adolescents in a residential setting, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy. Her experience also includes working in an inpatient setting, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services. Ashley worked as a traveling social worker fulfilling different roles as a therapist and social worker in both Alaska and Hawaii.
As an admissions clinician, Ashley strives to provide support and encouragement for each individual, as seeking help can be difficult. While working with both adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, she understands the next step of reaching out for help can feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. Her goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space that allows each individual seeking treatment to feel accepted and understood.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and traveling.
