Bri is currently a Licensed Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College, where she studied exercise physiology and sport and exercise rehabilitation psychology. After, she obtained her Master in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2020. Bri has experience providing care for acute and chronic illness, life-limiting diagnoses, complicated grief, and implementing culturally sensitive interventions. Bri’s research focus and passion are on eating disorders in athletic populations. Particularly life after a collegiate career and the utilization of mindfulness-based interventions, yoga implementation for special populations, and infertility-related issues in recovery.
Bri strives to cultivate a safe and collaborative environment; where she respects the right to self-determination and promotes client empowerment.
In her practice, she recognizes the importance of assessing barriers to care, healthy literacy, identifying value-oriented goals, and advocating for equity in health care through a social justice lens.
