Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Art Therapy required.
  2. Actively pursuing or have licensure in Colorado.
  3. Pursuing art therapy registration & board certification with The American Art Therapy Association.

  2. Schedule clinical training opportunities and maintain internal clinical training handbooks.
  3. Establish and edit policies and procedures for ongoing consistency in delivery of clinical services.
  4. Support clinical staff in professional growth and delivering education to the community.
  5. Coordinates efforts of clinical team to provide consistent, effective day-to-day treatment.
  6. Supervises the program and individual clinicians/milieu staff to deliver PHP/IOP services as designed.
  7. Ensures EDCare’s mission and treatment philosophy is consistently implemented in treatment program.
  8. As part of clinical leadership team initiates and participates in creative and effective program development.
  9. Attend all staffing and monitor treatment progress of PHP patients.
  10. Attends and oversees community meetings in PHP programming.
  11. Complete Patient Advocate duties as necessary.
  12. Receive and respond to student requests for internships via email, schedule interviews, and identify and schedule selected students  for internship for the fall and summer slots; maintain relationships with internship liaisons at the college Master’s programs
  13. Schedule student orientations and trainings; provide or arrange student supervisions
  14. Supervise Art therapist duties- ordering supplies, hourly schedule, clinical training, etc.
  15. Hire, evaluate, and arrange coverage for contract staff-
  16. Complete payroll for milieu staff, art therapist biweekly
  17. Responds timely to medical record requests with support from front desk staff
  18. Administrative Supervision of House Manager
  19. Other job duties as assigned.

Management Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain schedule (PTO requests, time off, etc.) that provides appropriate staffing coverage.
  2. Must be able to meet all the job duties and requirements of their direct reports.
  3. Complete performance reviews in a timely manner.
  4. Actively work with human resources in the hiring process (reviewing resumes, interviewing, and decision-making).
  5. Actively participate and attend Senior Management meetings.
  6. Complete on-call job duties as needed.
  7. Understand that management’s ultimate goals must be the profitability of, the clinical effectiveness of, and the overall success of EDC-D as a business. Proactively handle conflicts with other departments, performance issues with employees and any other managerial issues as needed or as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree or, PhD, in behavioral health field required.
  2. Licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT required.

  3. Thoroughly integrates new housemates into the structure of the Supportive House by demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of the Supportive House and by making patients familiar with the rules, expectations, and routines of the house.
  4. Understands that having the Supportive House in this neighborhood is a privilege and understands the responsibility that comes with that privilege by upholding a quiet, calm, neighborly presence.
  5. Maintains daily schedules and structure, specifically around transport times, meal times, and bed times.
  6. Monitors housemates’ activities, appropriate to adult patient population, to ensure safety and accountability.
  7. Demonstrates ability to hold strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with house occupants.
  8. Relays clinical information and observations about a patient to the treatment team when appropriate.

  2. Create an individualized treatment plan with appropriate PHP goals and objectives (completed within 72 hours) and continually monitors progress and re-evaluate appropriateness of goals.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of and practice of clinical interviewing/counseling skills.
  4. Ensure that patients are seen for individual therapy as clinically indicated (twice weekly for PHP).
  5. Demonstrate ability to build therapeutic rapport.
  6. Provide case management for each assigned case: demonstrate ability to facilitate and/or ensure the whole of patient care, integrate all aspects of care and ease the process of treatment for the patient.
  7. Facilitate meals with expertise: demonstrate ability to challenge behaviors and support recovery.
  8. Facilitate meals with patients in a fashion consistent with current policies and procedures; eat and model appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes with patients.

  2. Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face meetings, direct mail, email, and networking.
  3. Maintain external professional relationships important for EDCare referrals.

  2. Creates an individualized treatment plan with appropriate IOP goals and objectives (completed within 3 sessions) and continually monitors progress and re-evaluates appropriateness of goals.

  10. In collaboration with the Program Coordinator, participates in multi-family programming including group therapy and family meal therapy resulting in increased support and awareness by families.
  11. Is creative in therapeutic interventions to include homework assignments, community resources, etc.
  12. Leads weekly staffing, conveying pertinent clinical information and formulating goals for the following week. Effectively communicates with members of the treatment team.
  13. Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: treatment plan, progress notes, etc.
  14. Provides clinical referrals when clinically indicated and provides effective and consistent communication to all collaborative providers.
  15. Ongoing attention to discharge plan evidenced by development of aftercare plan, coordination with OP providers and referrals sources, and secures patient’s knowledge of available resources.
  16. Completion of thorough discharge summaries reflecting the course of treatment and ongoing clinical recommendations. Completed within 14 days of discharge.

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:

  2. Management of staff, facilitating hiring, onboarding, training & annual evaluation for EDCare staff and interns, including disciplines & terminations.
  3. Weekly phone calls with Regional Clinical Director in order to assure operational and clinical support.

  1. Maintains clinical oversight of all staff in order to assure completion of responsibilities and duties, managing concerns or issues & maintaining a standard of excellence for patient care.

  3. Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients, families, staff, and interns.
  4. Facilitates program orientation with all incoming adult patients and families. Orientation includes, but is not limited to, introducing the patient to the milieu environment and reviewing program expectations.
  5. Provides clinical coverage including leading EIOP Multifamily group weekly.
  6. Provides PRN coverage for program as needed for groups and individual cases.
  7. Provides outpatient services to individuals and families. Completes all documentation and necessary paperwork associated with having an outpatient caseload.
  8. Reviews all documentation in EMR on a weekly basis, i.e., bio/psycho/social assessments, mental status exam, treatment plans, weekly progress notes, aftercare plans, treatment summaries, etc.
  9. Facilitates weekly, one-hour supervision meetings for all EDCare staff and interns.
  10. Conducts separate IOP weekly staffing for Adult program.
  11. Provides oversight of the discharge process in order to assure appropriate care of the patient and collaboration with OP providers.
  12. Maintains daily program structure for both COS programs developing quality measures and solutions for improvement.
  13. In collaboration with Regional Clinical Director, maintains and develops group curriculum for both COS programs.
  14. Monitors client satisfaction surveys process through questionnaires and compiles data.

  1. Licensed or license eligible as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  2. Master’s degree, Psy, D or Ph.D. in behavioral health field.

Volunteers

Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, EDCare does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of EDCare. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
