Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (EIOP) Coordinator  – Denver, Colorado

Supervisor:

Executive Clinical Director

Summary of Major Functions:

Provide and maintain structure for the Evening Intensive Outpatient Program.  Services include conducting the initial bio-psycho-social intake and creation of treatment plans for the individual patients, conducting groups, facilitating meals and meal processing, individual psychotherapy, facilitating EIOP staffing, and creating a therapeutic milieu.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrates knowledge of and practice of effective counseling skills.
  2. Facilitates meals with patients in a fashion consistent with current policies and procedures; eats and models appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes with patients.
  3. Ensures staff coverage for all clinical aspects of the EIOP program.
  4. Conducts the initial bio-psycho-social assessment of each individual admitting to the EIOP program (filed in patient’s chart within 72 hours).
  5. Creates treatment plans for each patient with input from the patient with appropriate EIOP goals and objective (completed within 72 hours)
  6. Thoroughly integrates new patients into the EIOP program by demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of the clinical program.
  7. Ensures that patients are seen for individual therapy once weekly for EIOP.
  8. Thoroughly integrates new patients into the EIOP program by demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of the clinical program.
  9. Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport.
  10. Facilitates groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and facilitate the group process.
  11. Maintains and develops group curriculum for psycho-ed, ACT/CBT, and DBT groups.
  12. Is present and available for EIOP patient requests and needs; provides outreach to patients when necessary.
  13. Conducts EIOP weekly staffing.
  14. Maintains daily program structure.
  15. Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: treatment plan, progress notes, discharge summary, etc.
  16. Effective and consistent communication to referral sources and collaborative providers.
  17. Ongoing attention to discharge plan evidenced by development of aftercare plan, transition sessions with OP provider and ensures patient’s knowledge of available resources.
  18. Provides clinical supervision to select clinical employees and/or doctoral level interns as assigned by the Executive Clinical Director.

Minimum Experience:

  1. Licensed as LCSW, LP, LPC; Master’s degree, PhD or PsyD in the behavioral health field.
  2. Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered patients.
  3. Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills.
  5. Clinical leadership skills and previous supervisory experience.
  6. Treatment orientation that aligns with that of EDCare.

Computer Skills:

  1. Must be able to effectively maneuver within an office scheduling system.
  2. Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  3. Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system.

Accountant  – Denver, Colorado

Supervisor: Chief Financial Officer

Summary of Major Functions:

Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, all general accounting, preparations of journal entries, maintaining Sage General Ledger, prepare accounts payable invoices, generate checks, record revenue, cash activity and reconcile all major GL accounts.  Prepare operational statistics, budgets, proformas and other analyses as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Record Revenue from the billing module integrated in EDC’s EMR software.
  2. Create AR Aging and resolve reconciliation issues.
  3. Prepare accounts payable invoices, generate checks, and maintain AP files.
  4. Manage Vendor relationships and prepare annual 1099’s
  5. Record all daily cash activity created from the billing department.
  6. Prepare monthly managerial financial statements.
  7. Prepare weekly and monthly operational statistics.
  8. Download Payroll cost data from ADP and record biweekly payroll in the GL.
  9. Download monthly Benefits cost data from ADP and record in GL.
  10. Calculate & record monthly Accrued Payroll.
  11. Download all Credit Card Activity and code with assistance from the Executive Administrator
  12. Maintain Fixed Asset Ledgers and Depreciation calculations
  13. Maintain Patient Stats data file and calculate Payor Mix & Length of Stay
  14. Calculate RVU pay of OP Therapists
  15. Assist in creation of Monthly CFO Financial Package for CEO and Board of Directors
  16. Prepare and Pay Sales Tax Returns
  17. Monitor department budgets regularly with feedback and recommendations to the clinics.
  18. Create and distribute monthly financial information to clinics.
  19. Create Payor Mix and State of origin tables
  20. Assist is setting up new clinics in the accounting systems
  21. Assist in the YE Budget process.

Minimum Experience:

  1. 3 years of accounting, GL and booking keeping experience. Accounting Degree a plus.
  2. Extensive Excel skills, pivot tables, filters, vlookup, advanced formulas.

Connections House Support Staff | Part-Time  – Denver, Colorado

EDCare, one of the nation’s foremost centers for the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders, is hiring part-time individuals to staff our Connections House.

The house is an after-hours, gender-inclusive recovery-focused environment for our patients while they are attending a full-time partial hospitalization program. Individuals will provide support and maintain structure for patients in the Partial Hospitalization Program outside of regular program hours and during transition times. Services include transporting patients to and from program, participating in meals, encouraging the abstinence of eating disorder behaviors, communicating with program staff, and providing a calm, supportive environment in the house.

Qualified candidates will need to have a basic understanding of the therapeutic process, confidentiality laws, demonstrate leadership abilities, provide a non-judgmental stance, and demonstrate enthusiasm. The position is part-time ranging from 4-20 hrs/week (approx).

Regional Outreach Representative – Lincoln, NE

Summary:

The Regional Outreach Representative will support the efforts of the marketing department in promoting company programs and in developing a network of referring providers within defined geographic areas. The Regional Outreach Representative is responsible for planning and coordinating various community events; identifying and implementing marketing tactics and strategies to achieve organizational objectives; developing and maintaining excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Reports to: The Director of Marketing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represents the organization and its programs to inform and educate therapists, physicians and the community about the services and programs to encourage referrals.
  • Assesses the needs of potential referral sources and identifies new or existing services that can be offered to meet those needs.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop educational opportunities for clients and prospects.
  • Provides training and support to referring entities to include in-services, conference presentations, and individual consultations.
  • Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face meetings, direct mail, email, and networking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Behavioral Health or Healthcare job
  • Proven ability to achieve sales or occupancy targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated ability to work independently using good judgment and analytical thinking while being able to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and the ability to travel with overnight stays. (1 to 2 weeks per month)

While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of EDCare. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
