Human Resource Manager – Denver, CO

Summary:           

EDCare is hiring a full time HR Manager based in Denver, serving approximately 90 employees. The HR Manager will handle recruiting, hiring, training, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations. This position also manages the Human Resources sections of our Joint Commission accreditation. Some travel is required to our offices remote locations, approximately once per quarter.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Meet all personnel regulatory requirements, including state, federal and Joint Commission guidelines.
  2. Knowledge of employment laws and EEO compliance.
  3. Facilitate an easy on-boarding process for new hires.
  4. Oversees talent acquisition, employee staffing, employment processing (on and off boarding) and compensation.
  5. Collaborate with the manager team to build a best-place-to-work culture.
  6. Mange employee relations and retention.
  7. Oversee performance evaluation process.
  8. Manage and maintains employee files.
  9. Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization.
  10. Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  11. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Experience: 

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of HR Manager experience required.
  2. Behavioral Healthcare experience preferred. Professional certification preferred.

  2. Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  3. Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system.

Administrative Assistant (Part-time)  – Denver, CO

Summary:           

EDCare is hiring a Part-time Administrative Assistant for our Denver location.   This person will perform general office duties (answering phones, faxing, filing, etc.) and will also interact directly with patients to support treatment, including creating admissions materials and first day schedules. Must have 2-3 years’ general office experience, be able to work independently and experience with an electronic medical records system. Excellent interpersonal skills is a must for working with patients and staff.

KANSAS CITY, KANSAS 

Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner – Overland Park, KS

Summary:           

Part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work with PHP patients.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Utilizes a bio-psycho-social & empowerment model.
  2. Examine and treat clients, through psychiatric assessments.
  3. Provide health teaching and counseling to clients and families.
  4. Accurately document client data, actions or interventions, responses and plans for care/follow up according to standards.
  5. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
  6. Initiate appropriate consultations and/or actions accordingly.
  7. Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data, within multidisciplinary team.
  8. Coordinate all laboratory and medical diagnostic testing for clients and medical team.
  9. Coordinate and attend all psychiatric medication consults.
  10. Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of appropriate psychotropic medications.
  11. Provide patient education regarding side-effects and efficacy.
  12. Regularly monitor prescribed medications for assigned patients.

Volunteers

Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, EDCare does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of EDCare. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
