Director of Clinical Nutritional Services – Denver, Colorado

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develops appropriate Policies and Procedures and educates staff.
  2. Facilitates departmental performance improvement initiatives.
  3. Schedule dietary training opportunities and maintain internal training handbooks.
  4. Ensures all program dietary components are being met.
  5. Works with other management staff to assess the effectiveness of existing programs and develops new programs components as necessary.
  6. Ensures standards and accreditation requirements (Joint Commission, HIPPA, etc.).
  7. Develops and maintains relationships with the professional community.
  8. Conducts outpatient counseling.
  9. Develops other professional staff for providing professional outpatient counseling services.
  10. Schedules new patients within one business day of receiving referral.
  11. Develops meal plans demonstrating diversity and meeting the nutritional needs of the patients.
  12. Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport.
  13. Timely completion and accuracy of assigned paperwork: assessment(s), treatment plan, progress notes, etc.
  14. Makes referrals to other providers/resources as indicated, including Psychiatrist, Outpatient Therapist, Family Therapist, groups, etc.

Minimum Experience:

  1. Registered Dietitian with a minimum of five years experience.
  2. Prefer experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients.
  3. Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills
  5. Minimum of two years of experience supervising others. Experience managing a department strongly preferred.

Human Resources Manager – Denver, Colorado

Summary: EDCare is hiring a full-time HR Manager based in Denver, serving approximately 90 employees. The HR Manager will handle recruiting, hiring, training, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations. This position also manages the Human Resources sections of our Joint Commission accreditation. Some travel is required to our office’s remote locations, approximately once per quarter.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Meet all personnel regulatory requirements, including state, federal and Joint Commission guidelines.
  2. Knowledge of employment laws and EEO compliance.
  3. Facilitate an easy onboarding process for new hires.
  4. Oversees talent acquisition, employee staffing, employment processing (on and off boarding) and compensation.

Milieu Therapist (Part-Time/On Call) – Kansas City, Kansas 

This position requires strong conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis. A successful candidate will have experience working with eating disordered patients in individual and/or group settings while maintaining healthy professional boundaries. Attention to details, excellent communication skills (written and oral), decision-making skills, diplomacy, and objectivity are essential qualities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Introducing and integrating new patients into programming
  • Leading groups to support a recovery-focused environment for all patients in program
  • Maintain and develop group curriculum for psycho-ed groups
  • Facilitate meals and therapeutic outings
  • Facilitate daily program structure while maintaining healthy professional boundaries
  • Conduct check-ins and check-outs with patients

Minimum Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in mental health care (required)
  • 6+ months experience in a therapeutic milieu

Regional Outreach Representative – Lincoln, NE


The Outreach Representative will support the efforts of the marketing department in promoting company programs and in developing a network of referring providers within defined geographic areas. The Outreach Representative is responsible for planning and coordinating various community events; identifying and implementing marketing tactics and strategies to achieve organizational objectives; developing and maintaining excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represents the organization and its programs to inform and educate therapists, physicians and the community about the services and programs to encourage referrals.
  • Assesses the needs of potential referral sources and identifies new or existing services that can be offered to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business development conversation with the EDCare Management team, outside referral sources and decision makers.
  • Participates in and attends public speaking engagements, industry and networking events and meetings to promote EDCare and its services.
  • Collaborates with other departments and the team on the development of educational programs offered to clients and prospects.
  • Provides training and support to referring entities to include in-services, conference presentations, and individual consultations.
  • Follows up on questions and areas of interest and concern expressed by the community providers, patients and referral sources.
  • Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face meetings, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Maintains accurate records of all outreach and prospecting activities in the current CRM system.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, business ethics codes.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

  5. Self-directed with demonstrated ability to work independently using good judgment and analytical thinking while being able to work as part of a dynamic team.
  6. Availability to work nights, weekends and the ability to travel with overnight stays.

Physical Demands and Environment:

Lifting/carrying up to 30+ pounds. The ability to travel by car and airplane. Capacity to multitask.

While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority.
