Primary Therapist – Denver, CO

Summary:           

Primarily responsible for the direction of care of PHP patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. Provides individual therapy, case management, group therapy, treatment planning, ensures implementation of the treatment plan in all aspects of programming and plans for a smooth transition and discharge from treatment. Responsible to document all treatment processes.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrates ability to provide comprehensive and ongoing assessment resulting in appropriate treatment and discharge recommendations (Patient’s Bio-Psycho-Social completed and filed in patient’s chart within 72 hours).
  • Creates an individualized treatment plan with appropriate PHP goals and objectives (completed within 72 hours) and continually monitors progress and re-evaluates the appropriateness of goals.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and practice of clinical interviewing/counseling skills.
  • Ensures that patients are seen for individual therapy as clinically indicated (twice weekly for PHP and once weekly for IOP).
  • Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport.
  • Provides case management for each assigned case: demonstrates ability to facilitate and/or ensure the whole of patient care, integrates all aspects of care and eases the process of treatment for the patient.
  • Facilitates groups with expertise: demonstrates ability to engage, set limits and monitors the group process.
  • Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: treatment plan, progress notes, etc.
  • Cultivates and maintains appropriate outpatient caseload as determined by the Clinical Director.

Postdoctoral Fellowship – Denver, CO

Summary:           

Come join a dynamic team of committed professionals in a premier Eating Disorder treatment center, located in Denver, Colorado.  This is a full-time, 12-month fellowship, providing a comprehensive training experience with an emphasis on eating disorders evaluation and treatment.  Clinical responsibilities for this 2,200 hour, supervised, pre-licensure training experience includes providing individual and group counseling, psychological assessment and supervising the clinical work of one or more graduate externs.  A particular emphasis for this position at EDCare is working with patients with eating disorders in an 11 hour/day partial hospital program, as well as conducting collaborative outreach activities focused on eating disorders awareness and prevention.

Evening Intensive Outpatient Therapist – Colorado Springs, CO

Summary:           

EDCare Colorado Springs is in search of an Evening IOP Clinician who is interested in working in the eating disorder field to join our multi-disciplinary team. Primary duties will be to assist and engage in the admission process to ensure it is effective, efficient and clinically sound.  Facilitate one evening of programming, including an experiential meal, a psych-education group, and a process group.  Provide weekly individual therapy to EIOP participants, with the potential to provide OP sessions when needed.  Work as part of the clinical team to perform Outreach in the community, and participate in overall program operations.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responds to inquiries within 24 hours of initial contact (in person, phone, email or web).
  • Demonstrates ability to build rapport resulting in converting inquires to assessments.
  • Presents EDC-Colorado Springs program information in a comprehensive, ethical and inviting manner.

Summary:           

Provide and maintain structure for the Evening Intensive Outpatient Program.  Services including conducting psycho-educational groups, facilitating meals and meal processing, documentation, and encouraging a therapeutic milieu.

Summary:           

EDCare is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for 30 hours with full benefits to work with our multi-disciplinary team in day treatment for eating disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

This position works independently, with the support and supervision of the medical director to address the medical concerns of our patients. Daily medical duties include taking vitals, observing and recording weights, collecting blood and urine specimens, observing patient self-administration of medication, handling orders, ordering labs, and interpreting findings of relevant diagnostic and laboratory tests. Completing history and physical exam on new admissions. Interfacing with clinical personnel as part of a comprehensive treatment team approach.

While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of EDCare. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
