Cassandra graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Dakota. Cassandra has worked with adolescents and adults in varying levels of care to address major mental health diagnoses, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and eating disorders.
Prior to graduating with her Master’s, she completed an internship at an Eating Disorders Program in Nebraska where her passion for group therapy was fueled by the empowerment and connection she witnessed. Cassandra operates from a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach and wishes to instill that recovery and change is attainable for all.
In her free time, Cassandra enjoys being surrounded by nature and water, traveling, dancing, and cuddling puppies.
