Holly Dodd received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Wheaton College in Illinois in 2009 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. Her nursing experience has primarily been in mental health, caring for patients in adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric units, children at a special needs school, and clients with eating disorders at a residential treatment center. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Missouri- Kansas City in 2017 and is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). As a nurse practitioner, Holly provided outpatient care at a community mental health clinic prior to joining the EDCare Kansas City team.
Holly is passionate about mental health recovery and views each of her clients as a whole person with infinite value. She believes that positive change happens through supportive therapeutic relationships and she is honored to be part of that process with her clients.
In her free time, Holly enjoys books, podcasts, movies, traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
