Katie Yant graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Psychology. After working in the field of mental health for a couple of years, she attended the University of Denver and received her Masters of Social Work degree. Following, Katie has worked with eating disorders at all levels of care.
As an Outpatient therapist at EDCare, Katie works to develop a collaborative and supportive relationship with clients. She helps clients explore the function of their eating disorder in their life, and connect their mind and body while developing new ways of being. By acknowledging the unique strengths and experiences of the individual, Katie encourages clients to seek out ways to create lasting behavior change through an embodied sense of health, authenticity, and connection.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys riding her horse, spending time with her dog, hiking, skiing, and exploring the great outdoors.
