Chief Executive Officer
Lana Currance, EDCare’s Chief Executive Officer, has over 30 years of healthcare experience. A native of Colorado, born and raised in a small farm town in eastern Colorado. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree working as a nurse in Intensive Care at Porter Hospital and now holds a Dual Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and Health Care Administration (HCA) from the University of Phoenix.
Her professional career began in nursing, serving patients clinically to include Intensive Care, Emergency and Flight nursing. As her career progressed, she served in various Nursing Executive roles in medical-surgical hospitals in the region, from Educator to the Director of Emergency and Trauma services. Her passion for mental health began 10 years ago and she has continued on this journey to serve the community and population ever since. She believes in the mission and is dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental illness.
Lana has worked in acute behavioral health hospitals, serving as the Chief Clinical Officer and Interim CEO for Highlands Behavioral Health and most currently the CEO of Strategic Behavioral Health, serving Peak View in Colorado Springs CO and starting Clear View in Johnstown CO.
Lana lives in the Denver metro area with her husband and her rescue dog Coco.
