LINDA MARCY, LMHP, LPC, ATR-BC
Linda Marcy, LMHP, LPC, ATR-BC, is an artist, teacher and therapist and leads the Art Therapy Group at EDCare in Lincoln. She is licensed as a mental health practitioner, licensed professional counselor and Registered and board-certified art therapist. She received a BA in Education and MS in Psychology. She has taught Art Therapy coursework for several universities including University of Oklahoma, Concordia University, Nebraska Wesleyan and Clarkson College. Linda has used art therapy techniques in various settings including private practice, treatment centers, hospitals, clinics, schools and churches.
In 2003 Linda was awarded Artist of The Year from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Women’s Commission for her work with women and trauma. She was also recognized by her church as a Notable Women for her focus on family and work leading the Women’s Board of Ministry. As an artist, teacher and therapist, Linda uses creativity and humor to focus on the health and strengths of the people she works with. Balancing work and play, Linda enjoys gardening, decorating and travel.
