Lindsey is from a small farming community in Northwestern Iowa where she was born and raised. She was brought to the Omaha area in 2002 where she attended Creighton University and obtained a BA in Psychology in 2006.
Lindsey has held various positions in the mental health and human services field in Nebraska/Iowa including working with children with Autism using Applied Behavioral Analysis, and working with adolescent children and families involved in the Juvenile Court System. Lindsey has taught life skills, social skills, parenting skills and assisted with resource connections with the goal of keeping families and children together.
Lindsey has a passion for personal growth for herself and those she is in contact with. She is currently working toward her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University. Lindsey enjoys working with all types of people to promote personal growth whether it be providers, individuals and/or families. Lindsey is helping the Omaha and Lincoln area gain awareness about eating disorder treatment and is excited to be connecting, educating and collaborating with providers to provide hope for those who are struggling with eating disorders. Lindsey feels fortunate to be an instrumental part of connecting people with the freedom and growth that EDCare can provide to those struggling with eating disorders.
Lindsey enjoys spending time outdoors and being with friends and family and enjoys traveling whenever there is the opportunity to explore new areas of the world. Lindsey is dedicated to supporting the Creighton Bluejay’s at sporting events and is no stranger to attending live music events especially at outdoor venues!
