EIOP Coordinator

Mallory Langston is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Kansas and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri.  Mallory obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University (Lubbock, TX) and her Master of Education in Counseling from Stephens College (Columbia, MO).  Her interest in treating eating disorders has been evident since her early college years, seeking out opportunities for education and training in this unique field.

Prior to working with EDCare, Mallory owned a private counseling practice where she provided individual therapy to adolescents, adults, and families, as well as clinical supervision to pre-licensed professional counselors.  Additionally, Mallory worked as a mental health counselor at Stephens College, where she was also an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Education in Counseling program.  She has also worked in a substance abuse treatment facility, a community mental health center, and serving individuals who are differently abled within clinical and community settings.

Mallory considers herself a lifelong learner, who is passionate about helping individuals and families experience value-directed change and a greater sense of identity and purpose.  With creativity, empathy, and laughter, she works alongside her clients to help them move toward their goals.

In her spare time, Mallory enjoys living in Kansas City with her family, her two dogs, and her cat.  She loves attending concerts and festivals, hiking, reading, and exploring the KC art and music scene.
