Sarah Roe is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Iowa Wesleyan University in 2016. She went on to receive her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Iowa in 2019.
Sarah’s clinical career includes experiences across a multitude of settings including non-profit advocacy work, out patient and intensive out patient settings. She began her professional experience as a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate through the organizations Domestic Violence Intervention Program and Rape Victim Advocacy Program. From there transitioned into an internship experience with eating disorders at EDCare Lincoln. Sarah’s counseling philosophy encompasses a person-centered and trauma informed approach.
Sarah welcomes the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults. She is most passionate about helping those clients who struggle with eating disorders, body image, self esteem, anxiety, gender identity, sexuality and trauma.
