Darren is a compassionate and driven mental health professional who completed his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2024. With two years of experience in the counseling field, Darren is committed to growing his expertise and deepening his understanding of therapeutic practices. In his role as a primary therapist at EDCare, Darren strives to ensure that each patient receives high-quality, inclusive, and humanistic counseling services, fostering an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

Darren’s passion for his work stems from a deeply held belief that every individual is inherently worthy of a fulfilling and healthy life, with healing being an integral part of that journey. Certified in CPR, Darren’s commitment to safety and preparedness underscores his care for those around him. Beyond his professional life, Darren cherishes time spent with his partner and enjoys activities that blend creativity and strategy. He loves thrifting, playing chess, engaging in video games, and crocheting. Currently, he is exploring sewing with an ambitious goal of crafting his own clothing—a testament to his enthusiasm for continuous learning and personal expression.
