Program Director
Adrien Prah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) who is passionate about helping individuals find healing, balance, and a renewed sense of self. She is a graduate of the CACREP-accredited counseling program at the Stanford University affiliate, Palo Alto University.
Adrien has been working with individuals struggling with eating disorders since 2014 and brings extensive experience across all levels of care, including inpatient stabilization, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings. Her background includes victim advocacy work for women and children in refuge homes, reentry programs for women transitioning from correctional systems, and psychiatric hospitals – experiences that continue to shape her compassionate, trauma-informed approach.
She previously owned a private practice, where she specialized in outpatient eating disorder treatment and developed strong, meaningful connections with her clients. Adrien’s therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy. She is dedicated to meeting each individual where they are and creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
In her role as Program Director at EDCare Denver, Adrien leads and supports a multidisciplinary team of Behavioral Health Techs, Program Techs, and Program Therapists. She is deeply committed to fostering a positive team environment and ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, high-quality care throughout their recovery journey.
Outside of her professional work, Adrien enjoys exploring small Colorado towns, picnicking with friends, reading by the pool, snuggling with her dog, and spending time in nature.
