He/They

Program Manager

Casey McIntyre is the Program Manager at EDCare, where he is passionate about cultivating a compassionate, collaborative, and recovery-oriented treatment environment for both patients and staff. He earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado, Denver and has experience working with adolescents and adults in higher levels of care for eating disorders, as well as children, adolescents and adults in community mental health navigating PTSD and behavioral concerns. In addition to leading and supporting the milieu team, Casey is dedicated to teaching and mentoring staff in order to create a therapeutic environment where patients feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery.

Casey’s clinical interests include eating disorders, trauma, neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ mental health, identity development, and attachment. Their therapeutic approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and genuine human connection, drawing from relational, trauma-informed, DBT, ACT, and experiential-based perspectives. They believe lasting recovery happens when people feel understood, connected, and empowered to build lives that align with their values rather than their eating disorder.

As both a clinician and leader, Casey strives to foster spaces where vulnerability is met with compassion, diversity is celebrated, and every person is treated with dignity and respect. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, performing arts, trying new restaurants, making art, attending concerts, cuddling with his cat- Siggi, and connecting with his community.
