CHRISTINE LOUREIRO, MSN, RN, APN, FNP-BC
Registered Nurse
Christine Loureiro earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Virginia. As a registered nurse, Christine worked on inpatient oncology and stem cell transplant units as well as an inpatient medical stabilization unit for individuals with eating disorders. Upon attaining her family nurse practitioner (FNP) board certification, Christine began working at an inner city federally qualified health center (FQHC) primary care clinic. She currently splits her time between primary care and her work at EDCare.
As a family nurse practitioner, Christine provides medical care for children and adults of all ages. She focuses her care delivery on meeting patients where they are, with the intention of collaborating to develop a realistic and sustainable plan to advance their health. Christine enjoys caring for a diverse group of patients, and she is a proud member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality (GLMA), and the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
In her free time, Christine enjoys being outside, spending time with her dog, seeing live music, and bird watching.
