KAI NETHERCLIFT, MSW, LSW
Primary Therapist
Kai’s approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and rooted in anti-oppressive practice, honoring each client’s individual strengths. She values creating a collaborative, safe space for healing—whether that means addressing an eating disorder directly, navigating co-occurring concerns like OCD, grief, or supporting improved communication between clients and their loved ones.
With several years of specialized experience in eating disorder treatment and a background supporting individuals navigating trauma, homelessness, substance use, and grief, Kai brings both depth and compassion to her work. Her years living and working abroad in community development also shaped her belief in meeting clients where they are.
Kai views recovery as more than symptom reduction—it’s about reclaiming wholeness, connection, and belonging. Moving toward thriving, not surviving. She sees community, nature, and laughter as powerful medicines and is guided by a commitment to equity and dignity of the individual. Above all, Kai walks alongside clients with honesty, consistency, and while modeling groundedness, to help clients take steady steps toward lasting change. Kai often utilizes techniques from a variety of modalities including ACT, EFT, IFS, DBT, somatic techniques, neuroscience, and lived experience.
“You are in the driver’s seat of your recovery. I’m in the passenger’s seat reflecting what I notice and helping you navigate the terrain.”
Outside of work Kai loves spending time in nature as well as live music, volunteering, and watching documentaries.
