Virtual IOP Program Manager

Mackenzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor native to Colorado. She received a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from the University of Denver. Her experience has centered around substance abuse and eating disorders co-occurring and has been passionate about facilitating the Substance Use Track at EDCare. Mackenzie started her journey at EDCare Denver as a milieu therapist, providing group and meal therapy to patients in recovery. She was promoted to milieu team lead which provided her the opportunity to develop and integrate her management and clinical skills. Once earning her license, Mackenzie transitioned into a primary therapist role. Clinically, she has worked with patients in various capacities, has traveled to different EDCare locations to offer support to their teams and patients, and has an extensive understanding of the EDCare program and the recovery process. After moving to Florida with her new husband, Mackenzie is now serving as the Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program Manager.
