She/Her/Hers

Nurse Practitioner

Zina Hosseini joined EDCare as a nurse practitioner in January 2025 and is honored to be part of a compassionate and dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care for individuals affected by eating disorders.
Zina’s healthcare career began in Iran, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery and worked for three years as a midwife in a remote birth center. After immigrating to the United States in 1996, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000, followed by a Master’s degree in 2002 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center at Anschutz.
For over two decades, Zina has worked with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, where she provided comprehensive reproductive healthcare and developed a deep understanding of the connection between physical health and nutrition. During that time, Zina encountered many patients struggling with undiagnosed eating disorders, which inspired her to pursue a new path focused on early recognition and holistic treatment.
Zina strongly believes in the healing power of nutrition and views it as one of the most effective tools in preventive and restorative medicine. She is deeply passionate about increasing awareness and improving early diagnosis of eating disorders within the medical community.
Outside of her professional life, Zina cherishes spending time with her family and two wonderful children.
