Lauren graduated from the University of Kansas in 2026 with a master’s in science and education in Sports Management. The program taught her about athlete mental health, best business practices and more.
After graduating Michigan State in 2017 she held different roles in social work and foster care before moving to Kansas City. She worked as a substance use counselor in downtown KC before transitioning to a business development role. Lauren’s career has been guided by where she can be the most helpful to her community.
Lauren is excited to join the EDCare team as the representative for the Midwest. Her passion for body positivity and self-acceptance has guided her in her previous positions, and she is exceptionally happy to be in a role where it is her focus. She looks forward to meeting providers in the community and connecting them with services.
Lauren is an avid reader and writer. She enjoys taking solo road trips, exploring farmer’s markets and leading the WAG (wife’s & girlfriends) team for her wife’s rec kickball league.
