Sarah Vitztum-Dolezal graduated from Wichita State University with a BA in Psychology and later earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. Sarah began her career by working with individuals in the autism community and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While studying at KU, she discovered her passion for eating disorders, which led her to join the EDCare team in 2021 as a Milieu Therapist.
In her current Outreach role, Sarah is dedicated to raising awareness and eliminating the stigma surrounding eating disorders. She is passionate about forging connections with healthcare providers to ensure individuals have access to the essential resources and treatments needed for recovery. Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, Sarah’s work is centered on transforming the lives of those struggling with eating disorders.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family and beloved dogs.
