Meet the EDCare Executive Team

Colleen Stephens is a seasoned behavioral health executive with more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership, admissions, operations, business development, clinical outreach and program development, including more than a decade dedicated to eating disorder treatment. Throughout her career, she has helped behavioral health organizations improve access to care, build high-performing teams, strengthen referral relationships, and develop sustainable strategies for growth.

Prior to joining EDCare, Colleen held senior leadership roles within several behavioral healthcare and eating disorder treatment organizations, including serving as Vice President of Admissions for a national eating disorder organization. In this role, she oversaw centralized admissions supporting more than 50 programs nationwide and led initiatives to strengthen admissions processes, team performance, and collaboration across departments. She also served as National Director of Clinical Outreach, helping guide organizational growth and develop strategic referral partnerships.

Earlier in her career, Colleen held leadership positions in behavioral healthcare operations, intake, program development, and business development, giving her a broad understanding of the systems and teams that support effective patient care.

As the Chief Operating Officer at EDCare, Colleen brings her extensive experience, strategic perspective, and collaborative leadership style to the organization’s Executive Leadership Team. She is committed to strengthening operations and expanding access to high-quality, compassionate eating disorder care.
