KATIE REUTZEL, PhD, RD, LMNT, PLMHP
Primary Therapist
Katie Reutzel received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics (2007), Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Sciences (2009), and Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Sciences (2021) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling (2023) from Crown College. She has worked as a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist since 2008 and a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner since 2023.
She is passionate about seeing the whole person healed and helps facilitate this through service in her private practice, K-Love Counseling LLC, as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and in the eating disorder community. Katie joined EDCare in 2022 as an intern, was hired as a Milieu Therapist upon her graduation in 2023, and was eventually promoted to Primary Therapist, the position she currently holds. She believes unconditional love is powerful and strives to reflect the value and worth of each client, student, and patient through her interactions with them.
Katie is married with four children and two fur babies and enjoys working with her hands and the outdoors.
