Primary Therapist
Torrie Long earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in mental health and minor in sociology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She has experience working with individuals navigating substance use, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. As a Primary Therapist at EDCare, Torrie integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approaches to support each patient’s unique needs.
She is passionate about helping patients recognize their individuality and empowering them to use their strengths to create meaningful, lasting change. Torrie strives to ensure that patients feel heard, supported, and capable of reaching their recovery goals in a safe and encouraging environment.
Outside of her clinical work, Torrie enjoys painting, drawing, and listening to music. She loves going on adventures, having deep conversations about life, and spending time with her two dogs, Onyx and Ophiena. She also values laughter and positivity, which shine through in her approach to both life and therapy.
