Meet the EDCare Denver Staff

Danielle Mauro was born and raised in NYC where she then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University at Albany. From an early age, she knew that her end goal has always been to help the community.

Prior to EDCare, Danielle worked side by side with those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses for a Psycho-Social Rehabilitation non-profit. In a grassroots effort, she found herself out in the community continually seeking to talk to anyone who would listen about the much-needed support around mental health. Meeting everyone right where they are, Danielle meets each person with grace and kindness while happy to educate them on the importance of access to resources for all.

Danielle is thrilled to be able to educate the community on the unparalleled services EDCare provides for those struggling with the effects of an eating disorder. When Danielle is not advocating for human rights, you will find her on her couch snuggled up with a good book, her fiancé, and two rescue dogs!
