Emily Amstutz graduated with high honors from the University of Kansas with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2016. Her nursing experience has primarily been caring for cardiac patients on the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit at The University of Kansas Health System. Emily received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2020 and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Throughout her years in healthcare, Emily has developed a passion for providing holistic patient care guided by the belief that all humans deserve dignity and compassion in order to obtain physical, mental, and spiritual health. Emily is dedicated to caring for eating disorder patients and views her patients as whole persons with intricate and unique experiences requiring individualized and supportive care.
In her free time, Emily loves to watercolor and draw, hike outdoors, and spend time with her husband and baby boy.
