Kyla Flug


EIOP Therapist

Kyla is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Missouri and Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014 and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota in 2016. Kyla began her work with eating disorders at The Emily Program, where she worked at the Anna Westin House adult residential facility. She completed her clinical practicum at the Minnesota Center for Psychology, where she was trained to provide individual and group Dialectical Behavioral Therapy services. Kyla continued to work with eating disorders when she served as a Post-MSW fellow at the University of California-Berkeley in their university health center for a year after her graduate studies.

Kyla understands that eating disorders have many facets and can impact multiple areas of a person’s life. She enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team to assist clients in healing their minds, bodies, and souls to empower them to reach their full potential. She enjoys facilitating a number of psychotherapy groups at EDCare, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sexuality, and Life Skills.

When she is not at work, Kyla enjoys spending time with friends and family, her partner Sam, and their cat Bucky. Her hobbies include reading, yoga, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.
