Julia Sadusky, Psy.D. has worked with eating disorders, substance use, trauma, and co-occurring concerns throughout her clinical work including substance use residential treatment, outpatient mental health clinics, and university counseling centers. She earned her doctorate from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA., where she specialized in research and clinical work in sexuality and gender identity. She completed her pre-doctoral training at Biola University Counseling Center in La Mirada, CA, where she provided clinical services treating eating disorders, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders and offered preventative trainings related to self-esteem, sexuality, and body image concerns.
As an outpatient therapist at EDCare, Dr. Sadusky seeks to support patients as they gain insight into the underlying factors that have contributed to and maintain their eating disorder. She also aims to foster hope in each patient’s capacity to move toward value-congruent living throughout recovery.
Dr. Sadusky enjoys being outdoors, brewing homemade kombucha, and cheering on her favorite NFL team – Go Eagles!
