Courtney graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Minor in Sociology. She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado. Courtney has experience working with both adolescents and adults at this level of care with the goal of empowering patients and their families to live authentically outside of the eating disorder mindset.
Prior to graduation, Courtney completed her practicum and internship with EDCare in Colorado Springs. Courtney also has experience working with children, adolescents, and families involved with the Department of Human Services in El Paso County as a Life Skills and Family Preservation practitioner. She finds her passion for counseling in serving communities looking for positive change within their environment and wanting to live content, and prosperous lives.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys jamming out to music, yoga, camping, spending time with friends and family, and arts & crafts.
